Enhance your on-camera monitoring with the Atomos Shinobi II 5.2" HDMI HDR Monitor. Tailored for vloggers, photographers, and content creators, the Shinobi II builds on its predecessor with a sleeker design and notable upgrades, including a 50% brighter 1500 cd/m squared display, USB-C camera control for Canon, Panasonic, Sony, and Z CAM, an AtomOS 11 interface, USB-C PD power I/O, a locking HDMI/USB-C adapter, updated image tools, and ultra-low battery consumption for all-day use with a single battery.

The USB-C port enables control of the latest mirrorless and DSLR cameras, while a 2.5mm LANC port adds compatibility with additional systems. Future firmware updates will expand support to FUJIFILM, Nikon, OM System, and Sigma cameras. A camera status indicator displays record settings, battery levels, and remaining recording time, with a red-edge indicator for active recording.

The AtomOS 11 operating system introduces an intuitive layout and enhanced tools, allowing users to adjust camera settings such as aperture, shutter speed, and ISO with exposure aids like false color, waveforms, zebras, and histograms for precise shots. The 5.2" touchscreen boasts 1500 cd/m squared peak brightness, ensuring clear visibility in bright sunlight or indoor setups.

The monitor's HDMI 1.4 input supports resolutions and frame rates up to DCI/UHD 4K30 and 1080p60. HDR HLG and HDR PQ modes let users preview HDR footage, while the monitor’s built-in storage supports up to eight custom LUTs for tailored looks. Built-in frame guides provide aspect ratio presets for cinematic and social media compositions, including 16:9, 9:16, 4:5, 1:1, and more.

Weighing just 7.4 oz, the Shinobi II features a slim design with additional locating holes and 1/4"-20 threads for secure anti-twist mounting. A centrally placed L-series battery plate ensures better balance, while the locking HDMI/USB-C adapter supports Atomos’ locking cables to prevent accidental disconnections.

Power options include L-series batteries, a DC barrel to D-Tap cable with a dummy battery, or USB-C PD input. The Shinobi II also supports USB-C PD 13W output to power or charge your camera while using camera control features.
