The Fundamentals of Lightroom with David Schleindl & McBain Online Workshop
Demystify the complexities of Adobe Lightroom! Join David Schleindl and McBain for a two-day in-depth workshop, walking you through essential correction and image processing tools such as Basic Adjustments, Tone Curve, HSL, Colour Grading, and exploring Lightroom's invaluable masking tool. You will get hands-on experience retouching a portrait photo with masks and the spot-removal tool.
You will also learn how to quickly import your photos and put the powerful organizational tools to work. The workshop concludes by reviewing the image export options and tips on maximizing Lightroom efficiency using presets, profiles, and other tools.
Please note that this course is specifically for Lightroom Classic. For an explanation of the different software versions and to sign up for a 7-day free trial, please visit www.adobe.com. Because of the nature of this workshop, it's recommended that you have two screens at your disposal, one for streaming/viewing the presenter's screen and the other for exploring and using Lightroom.
About David Schleindl
David Schleindl is a Photographer and Project Manager based in Edmonton. Since receiving his BFA in Film Studies at the Emily Carr University of Art + Design and a BArch from the University of Toronto, David has worked as a Project Manager in the exhibit, themed entertainment, and architecture sectors for clients such as Caterpillar Inc., Deloitte, Disney, Fairmont, Sesame Workshop and The Los Angeles Zoo. His most recent venture was as a Project Manager for the design team on the Game of Thrones studio tour near Belfast, Northern Ireland.
As a photographer, David is currently drawn to create images which portray the paradoxical relationship of fragility and resilience. Previously, David has taught at the Alberta University of the Arts and The Banff Centre.
