McBain Camera 75th Anniversary Event
When Ross McBain opened shop in 1949, he had a simple vision for a camera store with exceptional service. From that core tenant grew a company that became an iconic fixture in Edmonton's downtown, a place photographers and creatives could count on to be best in the business. Three-quarters of a century later, McBain has expanded with locations across Alberta and offers its trademark brand of friendly, knowledgeable advice online to Canadians from coast to coast.

Live Experiences
Select locations will feature events like hands-on live experiences with Canon and Nikon. Canon will be at our new Mayfield store with the new EOS R5 Mark II for you to touch and try! Nikon will set up shop at our Edmonton Southgate Centre location, showing off its camera and lens lineup, including the new Z 6 III.
Photo Scavenger Hunts
August 10th will also feature special Photo Scavenger Hunts at McBain Sherwood Park, Red Deer and Lethbridge as well as a special hunt at the Wagner Natural Area just outside of Edmonton. Participants will have a chance to win a 16 x 20" canvas gallery wrap print of one of their images from the hunt! Be part of the fun.
