Covering a 300-600mm range at f/4, it balances brightness with manageable weight, offering precise depth-of-field control and excellent low-light capability. Its internal zoom and focus design maintain a consistent length, minimizing center-of-gravity shifts for smooth handling on tripods and monopods.

High-performance glass elements, including low-dispersion and high-refractive index elements, ensure sharpness, clarity, and accurate colors. Chromatic aberrations are well-controlled, while a Nano Porous Coating (NPC) reduces flare and ghosting for high contrast. A high-thrust HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) delivers rapid, responsive autofocus, excelling at tracking fast-moving subjects.

A new function ring provides two selectable modes: Focus Preset Mode instantly shifts to a pre-registered point, while Power Focus Mode allows for controlled, smooth focus pulls, ideal for video.
