Zhiyun Crane 3S Pro Gimbal

The CRANE 3S PRO from Zhiyun-Tech is an upgraded version of previous Zhiyun gimbals, featuring detachable handle options, a high 14.3 lb payload capacity, an improved axis-locking system, external power input, and the advanced ViaTouch 2.0 motion control system. Additional features include wireless video transmission, professional zoom and focus controls, and an external battery option. The gimbal supports a variety of camera sizes by using an available extension module to extend the horizontal arm, now at a 55 degree angle. It can stabilize loads up to 14.3 lb.

The 3S PRO offers two handle options. The included SmartSling handle features an ergonomic grip with a built-in joystick and control buttons, while the optional EasySling handle provides a simple, comfortable handgrip without controls. The handle enables easy switching to underslung mode, whether using one or two hands, for creative shots like 330 degree roll shots as you move closer to a subject. The main handle includes all necessary controls and an OLED status screen, and the free Zhiyun iOS/Android app offers additional controls and special features like panorama, focus time-lapse, motion time-lapse, long exposure time-lapse, and camera settings.

The 3S PRO runs on an internal battery, but if longer shooting time is needed, you can connect the included Transmount PowerPlus battery pack, which contains six 18650 batteries. The gimbal can also be controlled via Bluetooth 5.0 with the ViaTouch 2.0 iOS/Android app, providing remote motion control and settings management. The included Transmount Image Transmission System transmitter allows you to connect the camera, mount the transmitter on the gimbal, and transmit a live camera feed to a separately available receiver.

Nine accessory mounting threads are available for adding Transmount or third-party accessories. The gimbal also features a redesigned axis latch lock system, where each axis has its own latch lock to securely hold positions without excess sway. This system ensures you can lock each axis to maintain balance settings when powering off, eliminating the need for rebalancing on each use. A smartphone clamp is also included to securely hold your phone while managing gimbal movement.
